Chemo Port & Dialysis Shirts, in plain words

A port sits under the skin high on the chest, and treatment days mean getting to it without undressing in a cold room. The people behind Deyeek put the opening where the port is: a zip or a snap placket at the upper chest, on some pieces an opening along the arm for a line, and on the mastectomy tops a pocket inside for a drain bulb. Closed, they read as a plain shirt, sweatshirt or tank.

These are clothes, not equipment. The opening gives access. It does not hold a line in place or keep a dressing clean, and the page says which access each piece has rather than what a nurse will need. Where the maker puts a drain pocket, the page says drain pocket, and nothing more.

How to read this bench

Pick the size you wear in a sweatshirt. The opening sits at the same height in every size, so a size up moves the seams outward, not down.
